Kettlebell Seminar


Kettlebell
Seminar is for the kettlebell enthusiast or a brand new kettlebell swinger. The seminar will consist of your basic movements Cleans, Snatches, Swings, Presses, Jerks and also some fun varied movements such as Turkish Get Up TGU Windmills Dual kettlebell movements and hand to hand techniques.

8:30am-11:00am @ Crossfit Central

UTB Free Community Workout

 


This Saturday don't miss the UTB: Free Community workout! The UTB is a boot camp style workout is open to everyone and is the perfect way to kick off your weekend. This workout is on held under the bridge off of Lake Austin Blvd. on Town Lake Print this Waiver, fill it out, and bring it with you to the workout. The UTB is capped at the first 60 people who turn in their waiver.

CrossFit Women's Challenge is Back!


The 2nd Annual CrossFit Women's Challenge is back! This is a one day, women's only, team event put on by the CrossFit Women Coaches. It is scaled to all levels so whether you are new to the CrossFit Women's program or have been with us for years - this event will challenge you and your teammates. Come to the CrossFit Women's Goal Setting Meeting on August 13th for more details!

The Details: Saturday, August 21st
* 3 Women to a team
* The Challenge includes 2 workouts - one 2 mile off road run, one indoor crossfit workout to be completed as a team
* All athletes will participate in all of the events.
* Prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place teams
* Team names and outfits are definitely encouraged!

Joe's Workout

Joe joined the CrossFit Central community 3 years ago and has lost nearly 60lbs since that time! He is a force inside CrossFit Central and has helped motivate many others to reach their goals. Joe has also traveled out to the CrossFit Games for 2 consecutive years to cheer on the CrossFit Central athletes!

Coach Michael Gregory: "Joe emailed me 3 years ago inquiring about the possibility of personal training. His experience with working out was practically zero. He started with personal training for the first year and a half. Joe then joined my 12:15 pm class and he immediately stepped his game up! He was one of the first 4 to make the
jump to the .com (advanced) class and now trains at SicFit Austin with some other heavy hitters. Joe is a great friend to many clients and trainers at CrossFit Central and I personally consider him one of the best friends I have. He is a truly great guy!"
