SPARTAN SUCCESS!

Congratulations to ALL of the Spartans who took on the 2009 six week Spartan 300 Challenge! There are so many success stories - check them out on the Spartan Blog: http://spartanchallenge09.blogspot.com/

Kelly lost 5 inches and dropped 1.9% body fat!
At the first benchmark workout Alexis finished in 19:14. At the finale she completed the workout in 14.28.

Wes lost 8.5 inches, 5.4% body fat, and 2.4lbs!
The first time Wes took on the Spartan workout he finished just before the cut off time in 17:23. At the second benchmark workout he finished in 15:33!

Zoe lost over 12 inches and 8lbs during this 6 week challenge!
At the first benchmark workout she finished the in 17:23. At the finale Zoe finished the workout in 15:33

Ryon lost 1 inch, .9% body fat, and gained 2.6lbs in six weeks.
He took on the 1st Spartan Workout @ the Level II weight and finished in 14:44. At the finale Ryon bumped up to Level I and completed the workout in 17.50!

Traveling CrossFitter

Atticus and his wife, pictured far left, recently traveled to Billings, Montana where they dropped in to the local CrossFit Affilaite, Alternative Athletics CrossFit, for a workout!

Goin' to the Games?

The CrossFit Central coaches who are traveling to the Games: Jeremy Thiel, Carey Kepler, Lance Cantu, & Crystal McReynolds along with the CrossFit Central Affilaite Team Michael Gregory, Andy Lewis, Kris Kepler, Tyler Parsons, Jessica Sharratt & Jen Cardella have been training hard and preparing for The International CrossFit Games all year!

If you are traveling to the Games to cheer on these athletes and join in the 3 day fitness festival you'll want to make sure you're prepared. They are hundreds of competitors and they are expecting over 2,000 spectators at the event. Check out the check list below & make sure you're prepared for an action-packed weekend!

1. Purchase Your Spectator Pass
$30 for 3 Days: Get Your Pass Here

2. Get a Spectator Parking Pass to the Games (These will sell out)
$10 per day/ $30 for 3 days: Get Your Pass Here

3. Chairs/Umbrellas/Beach Towels/Sunscreen
If you don't plan on standing during the entire competition or don't like to sit on the ground think ahead and bring something to sit on. ALSO - there is little to no shade at the ranch, think about an umbrella, tent, or hat during the Games

4. Check the weather
It's been known to be chilly in the morning, hot in the afternoon, & cool at night
