CLASSES EXPLAINED

  • HYBRID: These classes will incorporate kettlebells, dumbbells, med balls and more! The class will focus on hybrid racing exercises with CORE at the end!
    (45 minute class)

  • HYBRID Strength: Hybrid of strength and conditioning with sled practice
    (60 minute class)

  • HYBRID Endurance: Level up your endurance training! This class will build up your fatigue resistance and mental grit.
    (60-90 minute class)


FAQ’S

What is a HYBRID Class?
A HYBRID class consists of strength work combined with functional strength and endurance training. Athletes get to experience programming that mixes sandbags, sleds, kettlebells, dumbbells, ski ergs, rowers, and running. All levels are welcome! The movements are functional, scalable, and easy to learn. Plus, you’ll get to train with Coach Allison, a HYROX World Champ!

By attending a HYBRID class an athlete can expect to gain strength and fitness that will transfer to many sports, challenges, and races. This class will challenge you mentally and physically.

Is this class just for people wanting to compete?
No! This is a great option for anyone training for a HYROX, Deka or Spartan race, a functional fitness competition, or anyone just looking for a fresh challenge.

Current CrossFit Central Members:
If you are a current member at CrossFit Central Burnet Road you can attend HYBRID as a part of your unlimited membership plan. If you are a two time a week athlete and you would like to join the HYBRID class you may use your class credit for a HYBRID class.

Not a Member?
If you are not a member of CrossFit Central and you would like to just attend HYBRID class you may purchase a HYBRID membership only. If you do purchase our HYBRID only membership and would like to also become a CrossFit client you will take on Elements before you are able to attend CrossFIt. Elements is two sessions with one of our CFL1 coaches teaching you the foundational movements of CrossFit. This will best prepare you for classes!

About HYROX
HYROX is the World Series of Fitness Racing. An innovative, holistic approach to fitness including running and natural movements combined to an unique indoor fitness competition. 1K of running followed by 1 workout, repeated 8 times.“The world was missing a premium fitness competition designed for Every Body, not only elite athletes” This is a combination of endurance and functional fitness that is intended to be attainable for athletes, non-athletes, and everyone in between while maintaining the competitive atmosphere of other fitness contests such as Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, and Warrior Dash.

About Deka
DEKA is for all levels of fitness with a common goal of improving exercise adherence and celebrating fitness. To provide fitness benchmarks and celebrate fitness improvements, DEKA provides 3 testing and competition opportunities with DEKA STRONG, DEKA MILE, and DEKA FIT. All 3 provide our 10 functional fitness zones (DEKA Zones) which are based on rudimentary movements. They are a well-rounded, low barrier of entry experience for beginners while also providing an exceptional test for high level athletes.
