Megan Miller is a certified Personal Trainer and a CrossFit Level 1 Coach. She grew up playing competitive softball for a great portion of her upbringing. Megan has a passion for sports, team work, and a dedication to a well rounded healthy lifestyle. She has trained clients for over 6 years, has a lot of helpful information that she loves to share with others. Her goal is to create an environment where goals are heard, cherished, and executed producing lifetime results! Megan wants to be “the” coach to make a difference in your life!
In September 2013 Megan was featured on Bodybuilding.com as “Personal Trainer of the Month.” She is confident in her work, loyal to her clientele, and ready to take on what the future holds. In March 2015 Megan was featured on the reality TV show “Steve Austins Broken Skull Challenge“, a fitness/obstacle course competition where the winner walks away with $10,000. Q & A with Coach Megan:
What do you love about being a coach?
Client Progression; anything from watching the number on the scale going down to watching the number on the barbells going up! I am a people pleaser, very goal oriented, and a competitor at heart! What I love about being a coach is inspiring others to make positive changes to increase their overall quality of life!
Favorite CrossFit movement and/or workout?
I find Olympic weightlifting enjoyable as a personal preference. If i had to pick one over the other I would choose a Clean. Any and all of the above ( Full, Hang, Power, Complexes, etc.)
Favorite go to meal?
I do find myself eating on the go often due to my active lifestyle, some healthier choices are; Outlaw Protein Bars, Veggies & Hummus, Hard Boiled Eggs, Beef Jerky, Bullet Proof Coffee, etc.
Favorite thing to do when you’re not coaching?
When I’m not coaching I do enjoy spending time with Loni my english bulldog puppy. If I’m not coaching, I’m probably training with the Central Athlete competitive team!
Hype jam? (what song/artist/station) do you listen to to get pumped up?
When 7 minutes of burpees shows on my program, the first song that comes to mind is…”Let the bodies hit the floor” by Disturbed!
