Boot Camp was hard for me at first. In this month I feel I have gotten in better shape quicker than any other program I have tried. I only wish I would have participated all winter.

MetCon Challenge

The 3rd Event in The Fittest Games Challenge was intense and fun! Participants took on a MetCon workout comprised of medicine ball work, kettlebell swings, and a one mile run on "the hill" at the Dynamax Facility in Buda, TX.

"I really liked this challenge, it worked out that a MetCon Challenge plays to all of my strengths." Ian Mosher, CrossFit Atlanta, who finished with the best Coach Time.

A Metabolic Conditioning Workout taxes both the body's musculature and cardiovascular system simultaneously. It is high intensity workout with minimal rest periods. A MetCon workout, among many things, will increase your endurance and stamina, and this is exactly what this workout set out to do!

The Workout:
100 Overhead Med Ball Throws
50 Kettlebell Swings
1 Mile Hill Run
100 Overhead Med Ball Throws
50 Kettlebell Swings

The competition was close for most of the participants. Many people completed the workout within seconds of each other! Thanks to Jim and Rick Cawley of Dynamax Inc. for the great location and the CrossFit affiliates who came out to the challenge!
