What attracted you to CrossFit?
What attracts me to Crossfit is its constant change. You never know what the WOD is going to be and to me that resembles life. I also love that it is a family. People that Crossfit are sold on it, they are hard core Crossfit and that's it. It has it's own culture and style. Crossfit is probably one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of. This is as good as it gets for me as far as strength training goes. Oh, I cant forget to mention that I get to be as aggressive as I want to be!
What do you like best about boot camp?
I like the relationships that are built with the boot campers. We all become friends and I get to learn about their families, jobs and whats going on in their lives. I also enjoy watching the progress that they make with their conditioning. I think that may be the most rewarding part, when they accomplish their goal.
What is the best advise you can give someone wanting to get fit?
My best advice is to stay consistent. Most people have this idea that they can go to the gym a few times a week and that's good enough. They don't consider diet or rest, being fit is a life style. You have to change your life.
Some people are intimidated by the word Boot Camp or CrossFit, is this class for fit people only?
Boot camp & CrossFit Training are for all fitness levels. We are able to scale any workout to your fitness level regardless of the other people in the class. I have people that have been coming for over a year and people right next to them that have been coming a month. We don't miss a beat.
What is you favorite W.O.D?
My favorite WOD is ether Nancy or Fran. My best Fran time is 3:27 and my best Nancy time is 12:37.
