CrossFit Women is a program designed especially for women. It is for all levels of fitness, experience, and ages. CrossFit Women will encourage you to step out of the box most fitness programs put women in and offer you true fitness! Inside this program you will find your best fitness, reach your goals, and join a committed group of women!
This is your opportunity to achieve things you never thought you were capable of. The highly talented CrossFit Women coaches are ready to take you to new fitness heights!
CrossFit Women will also host events including wine night, nutritional mixers, happy hour, and zone nutritional meetings!

Personal Training
Personal Training is a great way to have one on one time with a highly skilled CrossFit Coach. All of CrossFit Central's coahces are talented, motivated, and have a strong desire to help people obtain their fitness goals! However, because these individuals are committed to offering their clients the upmost attention and high quality training, they only commit to a few clients each month.

WayFit is a Fun Fitness Program for Kids!

By Design, WayFit is:
Jumping, Running, Rolling, Pushing, Pulling, Rotating, Swinging, Slamming, Punching, Kicking, and Throwing!
The Program Focuses on fundamental movement that will teach the young athletes how to move their body in proper plans of motion. This will allow them to develop life long movement patters that will apply to all sports and life. The program is held at the West Austin Youth Association WAYA

WayFit will increase kid's general physical prepardness. This will allow children to develop general motor skills, flexibility, strenth, speed, and a healthy mental state.
This energetic program will not only prepare children for movement but also develop a strong work ethic and team work skills.

PowerPlant Athletics
PowerPlant Athletics is powered by CrossFit Central. This youth athletic program is founded in and utilizes the principles of CrossFit. PowerPlant Athletics is dedicated to giving young athletes the opportunity to excel in their fitness and skill level. Whether your athlete is a beginner to an athletic program or a highly skilled sport specific athlete PowerPlant Athletics is the training protocol for young individuals seeking a high quality athletic program.
The Training:
PowerPlant Athletics focuses on teaching core fundamental movements to develop the athlete's overall ability to move and function in various active environments.
We offer summer strength and conditioning programs, group training, and one on one training. PowerPlant Athletics has empowered several High School Athletic Programs across Texas with the means to elevate their athlete's performance.
This program pushes the individual athlete but collectively challenges the team to work together. Fellowship forms through individuals actively pursuing a common goal.

CrossFit Elements is a prerequisite for the CrossFit program
CrossFit Elements are scheduled as three one-on-one sessions between you and a CrossFit Central Coach. The total cost for the three sessions is $100, and you can pay the coach via cash, check or credit card at your first session. To schedule Elements, Contact us.
CrossFit Elements sessions teach movements for optimal performance in the CrossFit program.

CrossFit WODS (workouts of the day).
CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement. This program offers a fitness that prepares you for occurrences in everyday life. The workouts are scaled to all fitness levels. Regardless of your experience or fitness level you will find your best fitness in the CrossFit program. CrossFit is the sport of fitness.

Indoor classes utilize the 10 physical skills as outlined by Jim Cawley of Dynamax Medicine Balls:
- Endurance-The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen (cardiovascular/respiratory endurance)
- Stamina - The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and
utilize energy. (capacity to maintain repetitive muscular movements)
- Strength - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force
- Flexibility - the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint
- Power - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time
- Speed - The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement
- Coordination - The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a single distinct movement
- Agility - The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another
- Balance - The ability to control the placement of the body's center of gravity in relation to its support base
- Accuracy - The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity

Boot Camp is a non-traditional way to get in shape and feel great! Through resistance training using your own body weight, randomized movements, and cardiovascular training you can get the lean, toned body that you have always wanted.
Our programs are both general and specific in design. We’ve trained everyone from senior citizens to marathon runners to triathletes. These programs are for individuals who are committed to making a change in their life with the support of a strong community, no matter what walk of life they are coming from.
What to expect from Boot Camp:
- Core strength and a tighter back side
- Average five pounds of weight loss
- Function that will apply to any sport as well as every day life
- Accountability of goals for maximum results
- Increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance
- Increase in coordination and agility
- Have a blast working out with like-minded, motivated people
The most efficient way you can track your progress in a fitness program is through body assessments. Once a month CrossFit Central offers free body assessments. This is an opportunity for you to closely track the physical changes you experience and also your overall fitness level. These assessments take place the Sunday after programs begin at our facility (5124 Burnet Road) between 2 and 4 p.m.

These consultations are completely optional, but we do encourage our clients to make every effort to take advantage of this offer.
**Body assessments are only free on the Sunday after boot camp begins. Assessments are available after that date for a fee of $40**
CrossFit Central offers two levels of Boot Camp:
Level I: Intermediate
You will be introduced to the essential movements of Boot Camp during the Intermediate program, and you will develop and understand the fundamentals of Boot Camp. While our Boot Camps are high intensity, you dictate just how much or how little you want to push yourself every time you come to camp.
Level II: Advanced
The Advanced program utilizes the same Boot Camp philosophy but at a more intense rate with less recovery time within each hour long session. You still have the ability to control the intensity of your workout by pushing yourself as little or as much as you are able. |
