In just 4 short weeks I feel much stronger and am able to do exercises I haven't done since college! My energy level is much higher throughout the day and I look forward to keeping up this level of fitness.

I remember the first time I watched a CrossFit video. It was the infamous Nasty Girls. I sat staring at my computer screen, my jaw slightly dropped open, following three women as the moved through movements I had only seen men perform - and only professional gymnasts and athletes at that! As they shook out their arms from the intensity of the workout I examined the situation more closely. These women weren't body builders! They were petite, healthy, beautiful, and lifting powerful weight! I sat back in my chair and thought, "Wow! I want to do that!" Followed directly by the thought of "There is no way I could do that!" I moved a little closer to the screen and hit Replay.

The day of the final Fittest Games Challenge had finally arrived. The 5K OffRoad course was mapped and the unknown adventure challenge was planned. Four men in particular went into this challenge all within points of one another. For months these competitors pushed each other at each competition, and now it finally came down to the challenge that would decide who would go on to compete in the National CrossFit Games. Only one Elite male and one Elite female could represent Texas at the Games, or so we thought.
