I'm faster, stronger and almost two pant sizes smaller! Besides my husband really taking notice (he didn't think my legs could be any better than they already were), the best thing is that I don't have to work nearly as hard at the running as I used to. I would highly recommend Jeremy's CrossFit class....if you're lucky enough to get in...because CrossFit is the best kept secret in town!

On-Ramp, A Focus On Movement

“I had a few expectations about On-Ramp when I started. I knew because it was CrossFit that I would still get in a great workout, and I ended up getting even more than that,” said Sarah Cross of CrossFit Central.

Proper form in a CrossFit workout is critical to maximizing the benefits of a WOD and preventing injury. The CrossFit Elements program is designed to ensure clients the safety and confidence that they need to move on to a CrossFit class. However, sometimes clients need additional time spent on the functional movements learned in Elements, as well as increasing their strength and endurance before starting a Coed or Women's Only Program. CrossFit Central has developed the new On-Ramp Program to address this need and give personal attention to clients that need to improve their form while still getting in a good workout.

Every Second Counts

I awoke in the middle of the night to the roar of thunder and crash of lightning. I slowly crept over to my bedroom window and peered through the blinds. It was pouring. I glanced over my shoulder at my alarm clock - the fluorescent blue numbers beamed 4:30am...this should be interesting.

All CrossFit Central coaches and staff were to meet at the gym at 6am for a quick briefing and then carpool over to the event location for WOD 1 at shoal creek trail. At 7:00am sharp the first wave of Women's Challenge competitors would start to arrive. The rain came down - in fact, it hadn't let up all morning.

What is CrossFit Endurance?
