Boot Camp was hard for me at first. In this month I feel I have gotten in better shape quicker than any other program I have tried. I only wish I would have participated all winter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Crossfit Central?
CrossFit Central is a company that utilizes the national CrossFit philosophy in every training program offered. We offer a variety of programs for all fitness levels, including Boot Camps, and indoor programs. CrossFit Central focuses on fitness and wellness through community development and support.

What's the difference between Boot Camp and CrossFit?
Boot Camps take place in an outdoor setting and focus on cardio work while utilizing your body’s own isometrics to build strength and gain agility. CrossFit classes take place indoors at our CrossFit Central facility and focus more on using external weights to build strength while placing an emphasis on form and technique.

Do I need to be a serious athlete to do CrossFit or Boot Camp?
One of the best things about CrossFit Central is that every program is scalable to each individual’s fitness level, so whether you’re a serious athlete or working out for the first time, CrossFit Central is for you.

How do I register?

Registering is easy! You can sign up online—just click here, choose the program you want, and click on the Sign Up Link.

How much do programs cost?
The cost of CrossFit Central programs varies depending on several things, including how many days a week you attend and which program you join. Please click here to learn more about individual programs and their costs.

I Am Visiting From Out of Town, Can I Drop In?

We love to have CrossFitters from out of town stop by our box. To drop into one of our classes, you must be a current CrossFit affiliate owner/trainer, or a client of an affiliate and have taken a CrossFit elements course and/or have been CrossFitting for at least 3 months. Please review our gym schedule before you contact us – then tell us the day/time(s) you are coming so we can give you approval and give the coach a heads up to expect you. We do not offer an open gym, you must pick a class to attend. The drop in fee is $20. You can pay by cash, check or charge at the CrossFit Central Facility.

How long do I have to use Class Credits?

You have 90 days to use your class credits.

How intense are the classes?
Our programs are all scalable to your fitness level. In other words, it’s you against the workout—you get to decide exactly how intense your workout will be.

What results can I expect?
You can expect to get in the best shape of your life with CrossFit Central. Melt away 5-10 unwanted pounds, get out of the gym for a not so traditional workout, and cut your personal training fees by ¾. You can also expect to get better core strength and a tighter backside, as well as functional strength and agility, that apply to sports and everyday life.

Where are your programs held?
We have programs all over Austin for the convenience of our clients. Please click here for a list of programs and locations.

Are there shower facilities available at the CrossFit Central Facility?
Yes! Our 6205-A Burnet Road facility does include two showers that are open for use by our clients, but bring your own toiletries!

What is your weather policy?
When it's raining, the class meets at the scheduled location and then moves to a covered area. In more severe weather, check the Web site for updates or look for an email from the instructor with more information on cancellations or relocations.

Who are the class instructors?
CrossFit Central instructors are all CrossFit and CPR certified and all are experienced in group training. CrossFit Central instructors are highly motivated and experienced individuals who will coach you to your fitness and wellness goals!
