On Saturday morning, 20 ladies of the Junior League of Austin came out to do a Women's Only workout at CrossFit Central! The workout included ab mat sit ups, kettlebell swings, dumbbell push press, jumping pullups, and walking lunges.

Food, Inc. Screening Recap |

Last night over 40 people came out to the I Am CrossFit EPOC & Relentless Adventure Challenge private screening of Food, Inc! Clients got to snack on healthy treats from My Fit Foods with their teams while they changed the way they saw food.
There are plenty of resources online to educate you on a healthy, clean, and natural diet. Two blogs to check out from CrossFit Central clients on the Paleo Diet and eating high quality foods are Eat Clean Live Strong and The Label Says Paleo. |

Rowdy Philosophy: A Kettlebell Discussion |

CrossFit Central is hosting a SOLD OUT Kettlebell Seminar on February 20th from 11-12:30 PM. It will be a round-table discussion on the subtleties of style within individual techniques and the concepts behind them, the mental approach to certain workouts, and how to select proper weight for various techniques.
Congratulations to CrossFit Central Kettlebell client, Amy, who recently celebtrated her 2 year Kettlebell Anniversary!

On-Ramp, A Focus On Movement |

CrossFit Central recently introduced an On-Ramp Program for those needing extra instruction on the foundational movements learned in Elements, as well as develop strength and endurance. The goal is to fully educate and prepare clients entering a Coed or Women's Only Program. Robert, who attended On-Ramp with Coach Travis Holley, was able to correct his form and technique from the On-Ramp Program, not to mention an overall increase in endurance! "I enjoyed the class across the board. Good coach, good atmosphere, tough well planned routines."
