Boot Camp was hard for me at first. In this month I feel I have gotten in better shape quicker than any other program I have tried. I only wish I would have participated all winter.

Nutrition Meeting Recap

Carey Kepler gave a Level 1 CrossFit Nutrition talk to CrossFit Central clients yesterday. She gave important tips and information on the Paleo diet and eating high quality foods. Need recipe ideas? The CrossFit Central community is a great place to swap ideas. Here is a simple Veggie Medley recipe from Coach Crystal Nelson and a "No-Oatmeal" recipe from Relentless Bootcamps.

Over 300 CrossFit Affiliates will be traveling to Miami, FL this weekend for the 2010 CrossFit Affiliate Gathering. CrossFit Central Co-Founders Jeremy Thiel & Carey Kepler were invited to speak to the Affiliates and shair their success.

 
The "I Can" Attitude

 

The women of the CrossFit Women's M/W/F 9:15 am class at RunTex have been working hard at improving their pull ups! CrossFit Women is a program designed for women of all ages and fitness levels to come together and empower each other. Coach Jessica Sharratt explains more on the program and how it will give you the "I Can!" attitude towards daily life.

Going Above and Beyond

Ben, who attends the Tu/Th 7:00 am class with Coach Travis Holley at the CrossFit Central RunTex location, has been putting in the extra work before and after class to work on individual skills and movements. Ben has been dedicating time after each class to work on ring dips and kipping pull ups. CrossFit Central clients in all programs have been seeing the benefits of going above and beyond! Junior League of Austin Workout

On Saturday morning, 20 ladies of the Junior League of Austin came out to do a Women's Only workout at CrossFit Central! The workout included ab mat sit ups, kettlebell swings, dumbbell push press, jumping pullups, and walking lunges.
